The Undisputed Queen of
Australian Women's Fiction

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the world wide web. I’m guessing if you’ve found me it’s because you’ve either read one of my books or you’re a mad keen reader like me, looking for your next fiction fix. Either way, I hope you’ll make yourself at home and have a look around while you’re here – be sure to check out my books page for my backlist and latest releases. I mostly write life-lit (aka women’s fiction) and rural romance because I believe there’s enough depressing stuff happening in the world, that I like my books to be hopeful and fun. If you enjoy a good chat like me, well… I spend far too much time on Facebook and Instagram and love to meet readers, so come say Hi there too. I also run an online book club, for more details click here.

Happy reading,

Rachael Johns Writer

The last episode of Dear Rach and Soph is a little bit different. Instead of answering a writing question or discussing a writing issue/topic, I interview Soph as research for my book, THE LUCKY SISTERS.This novel is about twin sisters who were adopted at birth and I had such a uesful time asking Soph all the questions about her own experience. You can watch it here: youtu.be/jBH13Y9qf2Y?si=iKYd7XDbFdjlfKvS or listen wherever you get your podcasts! xx
