Dear Reader....
On April Fools Day this year, my dreams came true. I received the email from Angela James at Carina Press telling me they wanted to buy my book. I emailed all my fabulous writing friends and one of them came back with “Are you serious or is this an April Fools?’’ The thought hadn’t even crossed my mind but suddenly I was terrified this was Carina Press’s idea of a BIG joke.
Turns out no matter how scary us writers think editors are, they’re not cruel. It’s REAL!!! And I’m stoked. I’d write whether I got published or not, but this is like the icing on the top of an extremely delicious caramel mud cake. I really hope if you decide to read one of my books – about pretty normal people creating pretty amazing happy ever afters – that you enjoy it and pine a little when it ends .
